(this was shared at the Serenity Coffeehouse in Glenside)

Is change possible?
Ask the abused spouse.
Ask the parent of a drug-crazed child.
Ask those prowling the halls of Congress.
Glory Be.

Is change possible?
Ask the pew who holds someone unwilling to worship.
Ask the preacher who teaches people unwilling to listen.
Ask the Lord who stands and knocks at a door never opened.
Glory Be.

Is change possible?
Ask the spirit who is quenched day by day.
Ask the poor despised in every way.
Ask me, who sees his own faults every day.
Glory Be

Glory Be.
Glory Be.
Yes, Change is Possible.
He is changing me.
